Cthulhu (Hi res detail)

Some close ups of the detail on my Cthulhu sculpt. Putting Zbrush 4R7 64 bit through its paces with detail I could only have bump mapped in the past. Nearly 31 million polys and no slow down at all.
It would make a nice 3D print once I throw a pose back on it.

Monstrous big cat sculpt

Another Zbrush sketch I've been working on. I keep returning to it when I get some free time. Each time I do, I see it with fresh eyes, so it's gone through all sorts of changes since I started it. I'm pretty happy with it now, but I would like to pose it.

Hard edge sketching in Zbrush

I've been working on this sculpt a bit more. Once I'm happy with the shape I plan to remesh and break it up into subtools. Looking forward to working into it with Zmodeler. Oh for more spare time.

Kimi Räikkönen

A digital likeness I made of Kimi Räikkönen a little while back - when I was working on the Formula 1 games. A nice task as he's probably one of my favourite drivers from the modern era.
The scan data was pretty noisy and had a few missing areas, but it gave me the major forms of his head to work with. The ref photos were perfect to use for the textures once I'd removed any tonal differences or lighting from them.

Demon sketch

A sculpt I've been working on in my spare time. Started from a sphere using Dynamesh. Did I mention I love Dynamesh :).
Still lots of detail to add. Might take this through to a game res model or pose him.

Hard edge sketching in zb

I've been doing a bit more to the Rhino model I started a little while back. All in Zbrush and sculpted from a sphere using dynamesh. Getting volumes and major shapes sorted before Zremeshing and detailing him.

Orc bust sketch

I'd not done anything Orc related for the best part of a decade. So I thought an Orc bust would make a nice Zbrush sketch to do on the train.
Still want to add more skin detail, veins etc. Maybe add a helmet or even a body. Will it actually be an Ork?
